To celebrate Poila Boishakh, we collaborated with Kalyan Jewellers to create a culturally rich digital film rooted in Kabi Gaan—a traditional Bengali art form of lyrical duels. Reimagined for today’s audience, the film features brand ambassador Ritabhari Chakraborty in a playful poetic exchange between a married couple, blending old-world charm with modern emotional depth.
Set against the festive spirit of the Bengali New Year, the narrative unfolds through verses filled with wit, pride, and affection. As the couple engages in poetic banter, we witness not just their cultural connection but the strength of their bond. The film culminates in a heartfelt moment where the husband presents his wife with a timeless gold ornament from Kalyan Jewellers—a symbol of love, celebration, and shared beginnings.
Poila Boishakh is traditionally considered an auspicious time for gold purchases in Bengal, and the film captures this sentiment by weaving together heritage, romance, and the joy of gifting. Through this campaign, Kalyan Jewellers reinforces its commitment to regional storytelling while staying rooted in trust and transparency.
